The economy requires bulk...mass production, volume.

Innovators and contemplators would have trimmed their ears for these techniques a hundred years ago.  "Now it's digital, and just a few minutes away...

Grow-ductivity is in the Know-how.

The project below is difficult to do....but to make 50-100 of these would require jig making principles....They are not sophisticated or complex!

The time has come.  More innovative people who can use machines and tools now have access to this information.  The economy requires bulk...mass production, volume.

Jigs and Gauges for beginners" could easily be rated "Beyond Top secret"... too few people know this stuff.  It's really  mind-boggling how little thought or recognition has been given to this subject.

You know the feeling.

After a book about techniques, about tools or machines you are left with certain vague even an ominous feeling about whether it made any changes or elevated any skills. This little known book is a catalyst. This book gets it! Imagine there's no imagination like this?

Still the Imagin-
Nation

It is a common occurrence, that on the weekend, many get lost in a shop full of tools and machines adoring a nice collection of hardwood, or the nicely organized pile of wood right from the kiln. Many are often wondering how to generate the perfect, organized stacks of products. Many are convinced that you have to make something  "Hand Made" yet they often quit half way through the project thinking  "I should automate this or spend more time on a model."

The waste of time isn't necessary. It is simply a conscious way of dealing with too much information with a short attention span that determines that people with huge capabilities and skill and potential won't stop to consider jig making.

We possibly have tens of thousands of new products to produce because we are on the verge of an economy in transition..... yet the most important action gets the least attention: jig making.

It's vital, a requirement, but it's rarely recognized.
It's possible that most of the trades, everything manufactured using iron, steel, glass, metal, plastic, leather and wood begins with a grasp of jig making or a very similar technique.

Many people know this special information and produce the products they have chosen to produce. But change and diversity demands that new ideas and innovation and new styles and new needs will mean a change or an evolution in products. That often means more work for everyone, and the need for more tools and machines and those who will put the processes together.

So, take a few minutes, download a digital book, even spend Saturday afternoon to read it. Your view of tools and machines will instantly span another level of confidence by seeing what jigs can do. It just might be the view of  productivity and automation basics that gets the least attention, but leads to economic activity for all who are on that "all mysterious level" right now.

Too many idle machines in the Imagin-NATION
Read  "Jigs and Gauges for Beginners."

Many seem to think that something
extraordinary must be discovered to take a few machines and set them up to make things in volume.  A couple of new machines making just one project every year doesn't have to be the only way to spend a little spare time. Even old, idle, neglected machines can still have volume capabilities. There's no need for a super-shop to be more productive.  We might just need a broader imagination along with an understanding of the basics of duplication.
