After buying a table saw, most people will spend years and years
sorting through millions of pages of plans and technical information
created for the populace, unaware that there is a device like the Mascut.
Why is this jig offered? Because it is very risky to break into the
market with ordinary products. We are a small business without a bankroll
to allow for an elaborate advertising company. We needed to offer
something that was very, very unique, and inventive.
Like
most machines, an optimum table saw system would be when things are
mechanically
in synch, you are filling the
bins with precision cut parts you make on your saw. Then
you get caught up in the moment, time flies, and everything is
synchronized
and rhyming. At times you almost think the operation is
invincible.
That is how some operations give gratification to the ones who work
on them or who organize them. They are a almost a pleasure.
Imagine how many
new products can be created that need unique wooden crates, display shelves or even display boxes?
Some restaurants display dozens of old branded product boxes, crates and
embossed boxes for nostalgia and conversation pieces.
Crates and boxes add enormous value to any new products too. Thousands upon thousands of products are enhanced and accented using various styles of wooden crates and boxes. Our Mascut jig is one of a kind,
and it ensures that the owners can learn to make things by the truck full. The included books about
manufacturing and building jigs are filled with loads of tips and techniques.
"The knowledge of what an operation
requires will outperform,
maybe even outlast many tools.
A new DVD is included too.....

No more guesswork once you can understand simple gauging.
Tellin it like it is.
Most people can't know for sure whether a certain University
can provide them with success. There are too many variables which
determine what can be gained.
Learning certain things can actually be very simple. But it is not in our nature to think that so many things are. Given the right information, and done properly, many, many complicated looking things are quite simple. We instinctively feel that most things outside of our circle of responsibility are complicated. Society has always determined that we need to attend the most expensive school to learn the most sophisticated insight and knowledge. Also, not everyone can discern which things can really transform our skill level. Very few can tell which things can improve our level of skill when we have the need or the demand to excel. Many times being able to accomplish some obscure talent merely means knowing what to look for. It helps to have a feel for what really has some special purpose and can be learned given a few correct demonstrations.
As an example, imagine that people really be sure whether a certain University could provide them with success. It is difficult. There are many variables, but what we get for $80,000- $100,000 depends much on the skillful generosity within that school, including what is brought there by the student at the same time. Without attention to such generosity, the worth and the value found in what the school delivers to the next generation would dwindle. It seems that for a long time, useful knowledge and it's generous spread from one generation to the next was too sophisticated to expect. So, it often wasn't expected when it was available, or it wasn't easily bought, but had to first be offered, and then equally accepted.
Knowledge is often like many other things. It is established in certain stages, often in surreal moments when it is least expected. Knowledge of tools and machines, and their ultimate capabilities occurs the same way. For example, special skills or knowledge is an event when many people tap their foreheads and say; ok, this is why gauging and measuring, after sounding so hard, becomes so clear and easy.
Here is an example.
Many people that have the tools and an operation, large or small do as the pro's do. They build and employ a proven, regulated, predictable
system. In other words, they
follow a recipe, a gauged, precise, predictable formula. They establish and they
"exactify" their procedures, and they measure and keep records.
They even measure
twice to be more exact. For example, they control the operation, keeping within a regulated
procedure, a means of performing each task and each movement, reducing unnecessary
movement as much as possible. To make things in volume, un-think "Hand Made" for awhile. Reconsider what is available, and
what can be
delivered to you right now, with no board reviews, no applications, no qualifying exams. Think
about saving time, feeling right
and making the
most stuff that you can with tools and machines with the least mistakes and in more volume.
How is that for generous. This is not being clever, but it must almost be
one of those certain moments.
Owning a Mascut will ensure many, many more learning moments, real useful, real
significant ones. For
those who can't afford a jig right away, read some more about them. A recommended
book, (also included with either of our package deals) is "Jigs and Gauges
for
Beginners."

The Old boss was telling Shawn about how jigs put him on the map. "Shawn, come on over here. People seem to have maps and plans mixed up. Some rarely read the instructions. Have you ever heard your Mom joke that men will seldom look at a map?" "Son, maybe it's true that some never look at maps, maybe not, but it's not their direct fault. It might the lack of time or priority or something. A few of the whittlers in my days were not map readers. So, I soon discovered that it's normal to rarely think that mistakes will never happen, or for many to think that mistakes really do waste time. Some people just don't forecast problems as well. He said " I remember where I came from...a little whittler like you. It's not always safe to think we aren't gonna make mistakes."
