How to read calipers and micrometers for

Observe all
safety rules when using a table saw. Always use an overhead blade guard or
a fixed blade guard on a crosscut fixture. Kickback
can occur with a crosscut fence or
rip fence. With a crosscut fence, it usually happens when
your work piece is not held tightly, or it is tilted on your return cut.
On your rip fence it occurs when your work piece binds between the blade and
table saw fence. (Usually when an operator stops mid-cut and decides to
back-up) Kickback is a violent launch of your work-piece and can
be very dangerous.
